Separating mineral solids from bituminous materials, comprises: (a) washing the building material containing mineral solids, bitumen and fillers in a solvent; (b) separating the mineral solids from the building material-solvent-mixture forming a bitumen-filler-solvent-mixture; (c) separating the fillers from the bitumen-filler-solvent-mixture; (d) separating the bitumen from the remaining bitumen-solvent-mixture by evaporating the solvent, where the steps (a) to (d) are carried out in a system that is tightly closed for the solvent; and (e) collecting and re-liquifying the evaporated solvent. Separating mineral solids from bituminous materials, comprises: (a) washing the building material containing mineral solids, bitumen and fillers in a solvent, where a building material-solvent-mixture is formed; (b) separating the mineral solids from the building material-solvent-mixture, where the mineral solids have a particle size that is larger than a particle size limit value, where a bitumen-filler-solvent-mixture is formed; (c) separating the fillers from the bitumen-filler-solvent-mixture, where the fillers have a particle size that is smaller than a particle size limit value; (d) separating the bitumen from the remaining bitumen-solvent-mixture by evaporating the solvent, where the above mentioned steps (a) to (d) are carried out in a system that is tightly closed for the solvent; and (e) collecting and re-liquifying the solvent evaporated in all steps. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a skimming device (128) for a washing device (14) of an apparatus (12) for separating solid minerals from bituminous materials (10), which includes the washing chamber (90), comprising skimming elements rotatable around a skimmer rotation axis, where the skimming device is adapted for skimming additives floated in the first washing chamber; (2) the washing device for the apparatus for separating mineral solids from the bituminous materials, comprising the above mentioned skimming device; and (3) the apparatus for carrying out the above mentioned method, comprising at least one first and/or a second washing device, a first separating device for separating the mineral solids with a particle size that is larger than the particle size limit value from the building material-solvent-mixture, a second separating device for separating the fillers having a grain size that is smaller than a particle size limit value from the bitumen-filler-solvent mixture, a third separating device for separating the bitumen, and a solvent recovery device for collecting and re-liquefying the solvent evaporated in all the devices of the apparatus, where the apparatus is designed in the form of a tightly-closed system for the solvent. |
