Block tram rail half-switch (1) consisting of a block body (4) having a shape adapted to a curved geometry, the switch (1) being connected to construction rails (5) having rail grooves (6) which continually pass from the construction rails (5) across the body block (4), wherein a footing (7) of the block body (4) is provided with a recess, a sliding surface (8) is prepared on the block body (4), where a latch (9) is to be placed, and wherein the block body (4) also houses a prepared latch stretcher (10).
