The present invention provides a bank note delivering mechanism which provides a means of delivering the bank to position to rotate in the bank storing section in condition that abnormal section of the bank note are detected. The bank note delivering mechanism (1) is provided with a bank note storing section (2) configured to rotate between a throwing position A and a delivering position B; a delivering roller (7) conveying the bank note at the delivering position B; a pressing section (12) pressing the bank note (P) to the delivering roller (7); a gate section (6) composed of a feeding roller (4) and a separating roller (5) for separating the bank note delivered by the delivering roller (7) one by one; a gate guide device (11) guiding the front of the bank note to the gate section (6); and a plurality of gate rods (16) configured to rotate between an opening position C and a closing position D of the gate section (6), the gate rods (16) are configured to smoothly connect the gate rods (16) at position D and the gate guiding device (11) on surface of the delivering roller (7) respectively.
