PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic impedance measuring instrument capable of rapidly and accurately measuring acoustic impedance by correcting a measuring error caused by a converging angle of an ultrasonic wave. SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic image inspection device 1, an ultrasonic transducer 13 irradiates biotissue 8 with the converged beam of an ultrasonic wave having a limited converging angle from the undersurface 92 of a resin plate 9 through an ultrasonic transmission medium W1 and the resin plate 9 in a state that the focus of the ultrasonic wave is matched with the upper surface 91 and receives the reflected wave from the biotissue 8 to convert the same into an electric signal. The CPU of a personal computer 3 calculates the acoustic impedance of the biotissue 8 on the basis of the acoustic impedance of the resin plate 9 and the reflected wave signal from the biotissue 8 and considers the converging angle of the ultrasonic wave to correct the acoustic impedance.
