POLYMER SUBSTRATES HAVING IMPROVED BIOLOGICAL RESPONSE FROM HKDCS

<p>A method of surface modification of a biocompatible, biodegradable polymer substrate using RF plasma treatment is disclosed. This method and the resulting surface provide for enhanced adhesion and proliferation of cells, such as hKDCs, and can be used with scaffolds for tissue regeneration and with other delivery vehicles such as medical devices.</p>
