[Class 26] A cover for a dustbin is provided with an opening and means to make a tight fit between the rim of the opening and the mouth of a dust bag of a vacuum cleaner, said rim projecting no higher above the cover than is necessary to enable the dustbag to be secured thereto. The securing means consists of a beaded ridge 4 around which fits a resilient bag 5. or a bag with a rubber ring or metal spring. A metal ring on the mouth of the bag may make a sliding fit with a downturned inner portion of a rubber cover. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also an outwardlyflanged mouth of the bag fixed to the cover by spring blades adapted to swing horizontally. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted. |
