A window has at least one leaf 12, which is swivellable around a vertical axis. The leaf has at least two glass panels 14, 15 arranged one above the other in a vertical direction, in which one of the glass panels is offset forwards in relation to the other glass panel or panels in the line of sight 16 when looking at the window from outside. In a second aspect, a leaf of a window has an outside frame section 13.2 adjacent panel 14, which is offset from outside frame section 13.1 adjacent panel 15. The leaf may also include reinforcing frame parts (111-113, fig 4). |
