The assembly has an intermediate part fitted between a member e.g. pivot shaft (27) and a component e.g. anchor. The intermediate part has a hole to receive the member. The component has perforations (26) forming elastic deformation unit distributed around circular opening. The intermediate part, which is deformed elastically and plastically, radially clamps the member along radial orientation (B), and constrains the elastic deformation unit in order to join together the assembly in a non-destructive manner for the component. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling member made of a material in opening of a component made of another material in timepiece.
