<p>A capacitive touch device includes a capacitive touch controller (19) which has an input port (20) and a capacitive touch sensor (23). The input port is coupled to the capacitive touch sensor by a path (25) which includes at least one capacitive coupling (26). The path may be a conductive track of metal, foil, conductive ink. The sensor may be formed on a fiber based material such a paper or cardboard or a plastic material. The touch device may be incorporated into an interactive printed article such as a book, game or greetings card. The device avoids the need for a continuous conductive path between the touch controller and the sensor.</p> |
