PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor having excellent conductivity of a solid electrolyte layer of a cathode, and having low ESR. SOLUTION: The capacitor 10 includes an anode 11 composed of a porous material of a valve metal; a dielectric layer 12 formed by oxidation of a surface of the anode 11; and a cathode 13 formed on the dielectric laye 12. The cathode 13 includes a solid electrolyte layer 13a containing π-conjugated system conductive polymer, soluble polymer containing an anion group, and a nitrogen-containing aromatic cyclic compound.
