<p>Medium or high voltage electrical current switching device comprises: sealed enclosure in which electrical components are present and a gaseous medium ensuring the electrical arc extinction to be occurred in that enclosure, where the: gaseous medium comprises at least one fluoroketone, alone or mixed with at least one gas not belonging to the fluoroketone family; and fluoroketone is present in the enclosure partially in the liquid state and partially in the gaseous state. Medium or high voltage electrical current switching device comprises: sealed enclosure in which electrical components are present and a gaseous medium ensuring the electrical arc extinction to be occurred in that enclosure, where the: gaseous medium comprises at least one fluoroketone, alone or mixed with at least one gas not belonging to the fluoroketone family; fluoroketone is present in the enclosure partially in the liquid state and partially in the gaseous state; and enclosure further comprises means to absorb the molecular species which is formed after ionization that endures fluoroketone during electrical arcing. An independent claim is included for a process of manufacturing medium or high voltage electrical current switchgear comprising: (a) step of filling a sealed enclosure, which are electrical components, with at least one fluoroketone, alone or mixed with at least one gas not belonging to the family of fluoroketones, where the filling step comprises: (a1) carrying out under partial vacuum of the enclosure; (a2) heating the enclosure to a temperature (theta 1) greater than a maximum temperature of use of the switching device; (a3) injecting the fluoroketone in the gaseous state into the enclosure; (a4) cooling the chamber at a temperature (theta 2) less than the maximum operating temperature of the apparatus; and (a5) optionally injecting the gas not belonging to fluoroketones in the family of the enclosure until to obtain a total predetermined pressure in the enclosure.</p> |
