PURPOSE: A match-type advertising system and a service providing method thereof are provided to offer an advertisement which is related to a word inputted in a search bar or an address bar, thereby securing a new advertising channel. CONSTITUTION: An installation server (310) transmits an installation module of a match-type advertising program to a user terminal (100). An advertising server (330) finds an advertisement related to a character string and transmits the advertisement to the user terminal. A database server (320) stores one or more among installation or removal information of the match-type advertising program in the user terminal, advertisement running information of the user terminal, and execution information of the advertising server. The match-type advertising program is installed at the user terminal. The match-type advertising program displays advertising information, which is received from the advertising server, through a popup window or a layered form.
