PURPOSE: A handover detect method, a cache unit for the same, and a cache control device thereof perform detection more effectively. CONSTITUTION: A storage unit (330a) stores terminal connection information received from at least one content and another cache unit. A control unit (330b) monitors a message transmitted from at least one user terminal. If a contents re-transmission request message is detected, the control unit extracts terminal address information of the user terminal from the contents re-transmission request message. If the extracted terminal address information is included in the terminal connection information pre-stored, the control informs a hand-over of the user terminal to another cache device which transmitted the terminal connection information.
