<p>The invention relates to a bakeable tray having a top surface 10 bounded by an outer peripheral edge 12, and a plurality of mutually spaced baking wells 14 formed integrally, and recessed within, the top surface. The tray is formed from a dried, moulded paper pulp material. An opening 22 with an upstanding lip 21 may be formed in the base of each baking well. The bakeable tray provides a cost 10 efficient and environmentally friendly solution compared to conventional metallic bakeable trays, or trays assembled from cardboard blanks. For example, no precleaning or assembly steps are necessary, and the tray itself is recyclable or compostable.</p> |
