PURPOSE: A medium composition with improved sensitivity and selectivity to Campylobacter is provided to ensure efficacy as an antifungal agent against candidiasis and dermatophytosis. CONSTITUTION: A medium composition with sensitivity and selectivity to Campylobacter contains Columbia agar base from OXOID company, activated charcoal, haemin, sodium pyruvate, cefoperzone, vancomycin, cycloheximide, and polymyxin B. The medium composition contains 5,000-400,000IU/L of polymyxin B. A method for identifying Campylobacter from a food sample comprises: a step of culturing the food sample in the medium composition; and a step of identifying Campylobacter.
