PURPOSE: Molded charcoal and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to generate no smell in combustion, to be harmless to the human body, to be able to be easily produced in desired shapes and sizes upon user's request, and to facilitate to keep due to the excellent water resistance. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of molded charcoal comprises the following steps: a step of mixing charcoal powder, metakaolin, sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide, and water at a fixed ratio; a step of molding the mixed material;. a first curing step of curing the mixed material at 25-40deg.C and 60-90% of humidity for 8 hours; and a second curing step of curing the first cured product at 30-40deg.C for more than 3 days. The particle diameter of the charcoal powder is 3-20 mesh. |
