PURPOSE: An alternating current (AC) generator for a vehicle is provided to stably fix the end portion of a coil through a spool post of the improved shape structure. CONSTITUTION: A spool (220) is installed in the center of the rotary shaft (210) in parallel. The spool comprises a cylindrical part in which a coil (200) is twined; a pair of the wing plates (225) which include multiple blades (221). A pair of magnetic pole bodies (230) is combined in both sides of the rotary shaft in order to surround the spool. A pair of magnetic pole bodies comprises the multiple finger parts which is extended to the axial direction toward each other. The cooling fan (240) is installed in both sides of the rotary shaft in order to adjacent to magnetic pole bodies.
