PURPOSE: A positive electrode for a secondary battery improves ion conductivity by spreading a positive electrode mixture on a current collector with a three dimensional stereo-structure, thereby improving the output performance and rate performance of the secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: A positive electrode for a secondary battery is that a positive electrode mixture including a positive active material, a binder, and a conducting agent is spread onto a current collector. The positive electrode mixture improves ion conductivity by being spread on the current collector with a three dimensional stereo-structure. The pattern forms a dot, a line, a plane. The three dimensional stereo-structure is polygonal, cylindrical, or conical. A secondary battery includes the positive electrode. The positive electrode uses the positive active material which is a spinel-structured lithium nickel manganese composite oxide. |
