PURPOSE: A display panel and a display device are provided to improve the detection sensitivity of a touch operation by reducing parasitic capacitance between a detection electrode and an opposite electrode. CONSTITUTION: A switching device (12) including a semiconductor layer is located on the main surface of a substrate (10). A pixel electrode with light transmittance is electrically connected to a switching device and is located on the main surface of the substrate. An organic light emitting layer (18) is located on the pixel electrode. An opposite electrode (20) is located on the organic light emitting layer. A detection electrode (50) with light transmittance is located between the substrate and a part of the pixel electrode. An insulation layer (52) with light transmittance is located between the pixel electrode and the detection electrode.
