PURPOSE: An accident check system and a method utilizing a black box and a detecting sensor are provided to regard as a vehicle accident in case predetermined condition is satisfied by assembling information measured in a first detecting sensor and a second detecting sensor. CONSTITUTION: An accident check system and a method utilizing a black box and a detecting sensor comprises a black box(110), a first detecting sensor(120), a second detecting sensor(150), and an accident processing unit(140). The black box acquires video information of an operating vehicle. The first detecting sensor detects acceleration, gradient, and impact of the vehicle in a vehicle accident. The second detecting sensor detects sensibility of a driver. The accident processing unit receives information of impact, gradient, and acceleration which are generated by the first detecting sensor, assembles, and determines as a first vehicle accident in case the information is within the predetermined reference value range. The accident processing unit receives sensitivity information which is generated by the second detecting sensor, assembles, and determines as a second vehicle accident in case the information is within the predetermined reference value range.
