LINKER FOR INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF HAPTEN-CARRIER CONJUGATION

PURPOSE: A linker which enhances efficiency of a hapten-carrier conjugate is provided to antibody generation and to replace a chemical linker. CONSTITUTION: A linker has R-CH_2-O-(CH_2)_n-COOH which enhances efficiency of the bond between a low molecular weight material and proteins. A hapten-carrier conjugate is prepared by the linker. The low molecular weight material is a natural product or a synthesized material with a carboxyl (-COOH) group or a derivative which is synthesized to have a carboxyl group. In the hapten-carrier conjugate, the hapten and the carrier are cotinine and bovine serum albumin, respectively.
