PURPOSE: A device and a method for manufacturing a membrane sheet for an LNG storage tank are provided to improve productivity in comparison with the existing device. CONSTITUTION: A device for manufacturing a membrane sheet for an LNG storage tank includes a front end unit (100), a large corrugation molding unit (200), a small corrugation molding unit (300), a conforming unit (400), a chamfering and juggling unit (500), and an inspection unit (600). A first transfer robot transferring a base steel sheet is installed on the front end unit. A large corrugation molding press is installed on the large corrugation molding unit. The small corrugation molding unit includes first and second small corrugation molding presses. The conforming unit includes a third transfer robot, a first conforming press, and a second conforming press. The chamfering and juggling unit is composed of a chamfering press, a large corrugation juggling press, and a small corrugation juggling press. The inspection unit inspects the surface of the base steel sheet. |
