PURPOSE: A method and a device for providing a stereo image are provided to enable a stereo image providing terminal to cast curved rays to three-dimensional (3D) data, thereby providing an image wider than a common 3D image according to curvature of rays. CONSTITUTION: A stereo image providing terminal acquires 3D data (S210) The stereo image providing terminal casts at least one ray as a curved form to the acquired 3D data (S220). The stereo image providing terminal generates at least one two-dimensional image along the at least one casted ray (S230). The stereo image providing terminal displays the at least one generated two-dimensional image (S240).
