PURPOSE: A biomarker for alleviating cerebral palsy (CP) symptoms is provided to accurately analyze alleviation of CP symptoms by administering erythropoietin. CONSTITUTION: A kit for monitoring alleviation of CP symptoms or analyzing prognosis contains a binder which specifically binds to a protein of sequence number 1, or a primer or a probe which specifically binds to a polynucleotide of sequence number 2. CP symptoms are alleviated by administering erythropoietin. The kit is an immunoassay kit. A method for monitoring alleviation of CP symptoms or analyzing prognosis comprises the step of detecting the expression of the nucleotide of sequence number 2 in a biological sample from humans for providing information for monitoring or analysis. |
