PURPOSE: A band clamp and a band clamp manufacturing method are provided to improve airtightness as a joined portion of the band clamps covers a connected portion of two members connected to form a continued flat surface. CONSTITUTION: A band clamp (100) includes a body unit (10) and a joining unit (70). The body unit is formed to be bent into a hook shape covering a connected portion. The joining unit is protruding on one side of the body unit in the longitudinal direction. The surface of the joining unit touches the inner surface of the body when the body unit is bent into a hook shape so that the joining unit is overlapped with the body unit and moved along the inner surface of the body unit. The body unit includes a bent unit (20) bent to the outer side as much as the thickness of the joining unit in order to prevent a stepped portion between the body unit and the joining unit and to have the even inner surface; and an insertion groove (30) in which the joining unit is inserted. The bent unit is formed on a portion in which the insertion groove is formed after the insertion groove is formed.
