<p>PURPOSE: An aromatic compound is provided to drive an organic electroluminescent device at low voltage and to improve brightness and economic efficiency when the aromatic compound is used in an organic layer of the organic electroluminescent device. CONSTITUTION: An aromatic compound is denoted by chemical formula 1. An organic electroluminescent device comprises an anode, a cathode, and layers between the anode and the cathode, containing the aromatic compounds. A light emitting layer between the anode and the cathode contains the aromatic compounds. An organic electroluminescent device further comprises a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, an electron blocking layer, a hole blocking layer, an electron transport layer, and an electron injection layer.</p> |
