PURPOSE: A floating type solar tracker mounting a photovoltaic module and a driving method thereof are provided to maximize the efficiency of solar power generation by connecting a plurality of floaters. CONSTITUTION: A floater (200) is combined with the lower side of a support stand. The floater collects a cable line through a part of a cylindrical stopper (300). The floater fixes a waterproof pipe on the outer center of the cylindrical stopper by using a U-shaped fixture. A first floating pipe (700) rotates a first gear.
