PURPOSE: A side emitting light emitting diode lens is provided to improve the uniformity of light by forming a protrusion part in the tangential component of a lower light emitting surface. CONSTITUTION: A bottom surface comprises a light entry surface. An upper surface (30) reflects light entering the light entry surface. A lateral surface (40) comprises an upper exit surface and a lower exit surface. A protrusion part (200) protrudes from the outer surface of the lower exit surface. The protrusion part is formed at regular intervals in the tangential component of the lower exit surface.
