PURPOSE: An MnTe thermoelectric material doped with Sb and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve a figure of merit (ZT) by doping MnTe with a fixed quantity of Sb. CONSTITUTION: Sb, Mn, and Te are weighed respectively according to a composition ratio. The weighed Sb, Mn, and Te are melted in an ampoule under a vacuum condition. The molten materials are quickly cooled to manufacture an ingot. The ingot is pulverized to manufacture powder. An MnTe based thermoelectric material doped with Sb is manufactured. |
