A back light unit for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to repair or replace minimum light emitting diodes selectively when generating a light emitting diode package with a defect. An LED(Light Emitting Diode) unit(130) includes an LED PCB(Printed Circuit Board) and an LED package mounted to the PCB. Plural LED units are fixed to the upper surface of a PCB module(140). Plural first electrode patterns are constructed to both sides of the LED PCB with the LED package as a center. Plural second electrode patterns are constructed to the upper surface of the PCB module between the LED units and correspond to the plural first electrode patterns one to one. Plural pins are constructed to the lower portion of the LED unit corresponding to the plural first electrode patterns. Plural holes are constructed to the PCB module corresponding to the ends of the plural second electrode patterns. Grooves are formed at the PCB module. Plural LED units are inserted into the grooves so that the plural first electrode patterns are contacted with the plural second electrode patterns. |
