PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship having a high-lift rudder, having increased volume of the ship by employing the high-lift rudder.SOLUTION: In a hull 100, length between perpendiculars is determined by arranging behind a propulsion propeller 52, a regular rudder 1 having a rudder area necessary for demonstrating steering effectiveness performance required for ship operation of the hull 100. The volume of a ship 51 is increased by arranging a high-lift rudder 50 necessary for demonstrating the steering effectiveness performance equivalent to that of the regular rudder 1 at a position on the stern side by the predetermined distance L1 from the stern perpendicular. The predetermined distance L1 is equal to a difference between a distance L2 from a rudder stock of the regular rudder 1 to the rudder rear end and a distance L3 from the rudder stock of the high-lift rudder 50 to the rudder rear end. |
