PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily apply new prediction processing for predicting the degree of contamination on the surface of a latent image carrier caused by the occurrence of discharge products to existing image forming apparatuses commercially available on the market, and suppress the occurrence of downtime.SOLUTION: A management device communicably connected with a plurality of copiers via a communication network receives characteristic value data transmitted from respective copiers via the communication network, executes prediction processing for predicting an F value that indicates the degree of contamination on the surface of a photoreceptor of the copiers from the received characteristic value data, and when the F value indicates a minus value, transmits an execution instruction for the copiers to execute removal operation of contamination on the surface of the photoreceptor caused by discharge products via the communication network. |
