PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simultaneously improving a damping characteristic and a strength without changing the material composition to a damping alloy.SOLUTION: An &egr;-martensitic phase, with which the damping characteristic is controlled, is made to be minute by repeatedly applying the processes and the heat-treatments and a number density (pieces per unit volume) of the martensitic phase, is increased. When the processes are applied, the damping source for easily shifting during the vibration, is precedingly developed by applying the process with the same deforming mode as the vibration to obtain the high dampling capacity. |
