PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently viewing a moving image.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus comprises: a control unit for controlling the inside of an apparatus; a communication unit for performing communication with the outside; a storage unit for storing moving image data; an output unit for displaying and outputting the moving image data; and an input unit for receiving a user's request. The control unit performs control to receive from the input unit a reproduction desired period being a user's viewable period and to display and output, on the output unit, moving image data of a portion extracted in accordance with the number of reproduction times of the moving image data in each time zone and the reproduction desired period.
