PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of improving correction accuracy, and in its turn, capable of improving prediction accuracy of energy consumption.SOLUTION: An energy consumption prediction apparatus 1 includes an energy consumption estimation unit 7 and a correction parameter calculation unit 8. The energy consumption estimation unit 7 derives a first parameter for past traveling of a vehicle in a prediction target section while adding a moving state and vehicle characteristic information and estimates energy consumption Qs of the vehicle on the basis of a fuel calculation method to which the derived first parameter is applied. The correction parameter calculation unit 8 calculates a new second parameter on the basis of energy consumption Qr and the energy consumption Qs. The energy consumption prediction apparatus 1, before the vehicle travels the prediction target section next time, predicts the energy consumption of the vehicle on the basis of a fuel calculation method to which the new second parameter is applied. |
