PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply apparatus of high energy saving which allows an efficient heat recovery operation.SOLUTION: A hot water supply apparatus includes a hot water storage tank 1, a bathtub 3, a heat exchanger 4 which exchanges heat between the hot water in the hot water storage tank 1 and that in the bathtub 3, a transportation means 5a which transports the hot water in the hot water storage tank 1 to the heat exchanger 4 and returns it into the hot water storage tank 1 again, and a control means 18. During a heat recovery operation in which the heat of the hot water in the bathtub 3 is recovered into the hot water in the hot water storage tank 1 from the start of the operation until a predetermined time passes, the amount of the transportation of the transportation means 5a is decreased from a predetermined flow rate, and then, it is changed to be the predetermined flow rate. Thus, without causing the agitation of the temperature in the hot water storage tank 1, an efficient heat recovery operation with no waste is performed. |
