PURPOSE: An apparatus for inspecting the inner surface of a pipe and a method therefor are provided to obtain a profile and an image with respect to the inner surface of a pipe, thereby inspecting the surface quality with respect to the inner surface of the pipe. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for inspecting the inner surface of a pipe includes a touch sensor unit (10), a camera unit (20), and a determining unit (30). The touch sensor unit contacts with the inner surface of a pipe, and generates the pressure signal according to the pressure that is applied from the inner surface of the pipe. The camera unit captures the inner surface of the pipe, and generates the image signal. The determining unit receives the pressure signal, and generates the profile with respect to the inner surface of the pipe, and displays the image with respect to the inner surface of the pipe by receiving the image signal.
