PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator car capable of easily making a car ceiling higher in design and securing wider wiring space while surely concealing wiring from a passenger's field of vision.SOLUTION: An elevator car includes an upper shield plate 6 disposed below the top plate 5 of a car 2 so as to face the top plate 5, a lower shield plate 7 disposed below the upper shield plate 6 and extended from the circumferential edge of the car 2 to form an opening at the center, and a suspension bracket 8 fixed to the top plate 5, and extended downward to support the upper shield plate 6. A light source 9 is housed in the upper surface of the lower shield plate 7, and a space between the suspension bracket 8 and the circumferential edge of the car 2 is used as a wiring space 10. |
