PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new variable displacement gear pump which prevents manufacturing cost increase or the like.SOLUTION: A variable displacement gear pump has a one-way clutch 19 between a first shaft 11 and the first pump gear 21. When the first shaft 11 is rotated in one direction, the one-way clutch 19 rotates the first pump gear 21 in the same direction. When the first shaft 11 is rotated in the other direction, the one-way clutch 19 idles the first pump gear 21. A bearing 25 is provided between the first shaft 11 and a first transmission gear 27. A second transmission gear 37 meshing with the first transmission gear 27 and having the less number of teeth than the first transmission gear 27 is fixed to the periphery of the second shaft 17. An electromagnetic clutch MC is provided in a housing 1 that is capable of switching between whether or not the power transmission between the first shaft 11 and the second shaft 17 is performed through the first transmission gear 27 and second transmission gear 37. |
