PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining wall block which enables a retaining wall to have an unequal section thickness in a manner that gets thinner towards an upper level thereof.SOLUTION: A retaining wall block A to construct a retaining wall by stacking the same one above the other comprises: a front block 1; a rear block 2; and coupling rods 3 which connect the front block 1 and the rear block 2 parallel to each other with a distance in between. The front block 1 is made of a thick concrete board with a rectangular shape in a front view. The rear block 2 is made of the thick concrete board with the rectangular shape in a rear view and has a loading section 4 at an upper section thereof to place the rear block of an upper level. The loading section 4 has a space to allow the rear block of the upper level to be placed by changing a loading position thereof in a longitudinal direction. The retaining wall with an equal section thickness can be constructed by stacking the rear block 2 of the upper level on a posterior position of the loading section 4. The retaining wall with an unequal section thickness can be constructed by stacking the rear block 2 of the upper level on an anterior position of the loading section 4 of the rear block 2. |
