PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with the preparation of complicated imaging optical systems corresponding to the number of parallaxes to be created in an image to be captured.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: two-dimensionally aligned photoelectric converters for photoelectric conversion of an incident subject beam to electric signals; a light-shielding unit which is provided corresponding to at least one of the photoelectric converters and shields at least a portion of the cross section area of the subject beam; and a drive mechanism which drives the light-shielding unit to open or close with respect to the photoelectric converter.
