PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a tracking delay of light distribution in a technology for detecting a position of a preceding vehicle with respect to an own vehicle and controlling a light distribution range of a headlamp of the own vehicle in accordance with the position.SOLUTION: Positional information of a preceding vehicle is acquired from an image sensor which photographs a scenery in front of an own vehicle and outputs the positional information of the vehicle preceding to the own vehicle. On the basis of signals acquired from a vehicle velocity sensor and a steering angle sensor for detecting a behavior of the own vehicle, a rotating angle (α) of the own vehicle after a time point when the image sensor photographs the scenery in front of the own vehicle in order to output the positional information of the preceding vehicle is detected. On the basis of the detected rotating angle, the acquired positional information of the preceding vehicle is corrected and based on the corrected positional information of the preceding vehicle, the light distribution of a headlamp of the own vehicle is controlled.
