PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which is a pretreatment apparatus for concentrating cells of bacteria or the like existing at thin concentration in a blood specimen to provide the concentrated cells to a post-process and removing and concentrating contaminants such as blood cells so as to be noninvasive in the post process.SOLUTION: A noninvasive type specimen treatment apparatus includes means for destroying blood cells in a blood specimen, means for removing fragments of the destroyed blood cells and means for concentrating bacteria which may be included in the blood specimen, and does not destroy bacteria in the blood specimen and/or does not destroy nucleic acids of the bacteria.
