PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten starting time while maintaining safety.SOLUTION: A gas turbine comprises a compressor for producing compressed air by compressing air taken from an air inlet, a combustor for producing a combustion gas by burning fuel with the compressed air, and a turbine driven by the combustion gas. The control device 40 for a gas turbine comprises a rotational acceleration determining part 48 for determining the maximum rotational acceleration feasible by the turbine based on a safety index showing the relationship between damage of the appliances comprising the gas turbine and the rotational acceleration of the turbine, and an acceleration fuel-air ratio determining part 50 for determining the fuel-air ratio of the combustor for accelerating the turbine by the rotational acceleration determined by the rotational acceleration determining part 48.
