PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasion evaluation method of heel-and-toe abrasion of a sipe of a tire.SOLUTION: This abrasion evaluation method includes: a preparation process of preparing a tire on the tread surface of which a sipe is formed; a measurement process by which abrasion energy of the tire is measured; and a determination process by which heel-and-toe abrasion of the tire is evaluated. In the measurement process, abrasion energy S1 at the first-come part and abrasion energy S2 at the last-come part of the tread surface sectioned by the sipe are measured. In the determination process, the heel-and-toe abrasion is evaluated based on difference in size between the abrasion energy S1 and the abrasion energy S2. Preferably, in the determination process, ratio between the abrasion energy S1 and the abrasion energy S2 is used as the difference in the size between the abrasion energy S1 and the abrasion energy S2 at the last-come part. |
