PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulb type light source device capable of efficiently suppressing temperature rise of a light source and a circuit or the like.SOLUTION: A bulb type light source device is provided with a light source unit, a circuit board, a base, and a casing. The circuit board is mounted with a prescribed circuit. The base is used for supplying power to the light source unit and the circuit. The casing includes a translucent cover and a heat radiating base casing and houses the light source unit and the circuit board. The translucent cover covers the light source unit. The heat radiating base casing includes a connection part connected to the base and an insertion hole which is formed at the connection part in order to connect thermally the connection part and the circuit and into which at least a part of the circuit board is inserted, and is connected thermally to the light source unit. |
