PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power conversion apparatus which reduces the number of components, achieves the downsizing and the reduction of assembly work hours, and enables rapid discharging.SOLUTION: An electric power conversion apparatus 1 includes: a semiconductor module 2 incorporating a semiconductor element; a cooler 3 cooling the semiconductor module 2; a circuit board 4 where a semiconductor control circuit controlling the semiconductor module 2 is formed; a capacitor 5 electrically connected with the semiconductor module 2; and a rapid discharging resistor 6 for discharging electric charges accumulated in the capacitor 5. A discharge control circuit controlling a current flowing into the rapid discharging resistor 6 is formed on the circuit board 4. The semiconductor module 2, the cooler 3, the capacitor 5, and the rapid discharging resistor 6 are disposed on the one surface side of the circuit board 4. |
