PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector which can suitably absorb vibrations from an electric wire to prevent wear of a terminal contact and also can restrain an increase in cost due to the addition, etc. of components.SOLUTION: In a waterproof connector 1, a terminal cavity 7 for accommodating terminals such as male and female terminals is disposed in a housing 6, and rubber plugs 11 having an insulated electric wire 8 inserted therethrough are inserted in place at the inlet port of the terminal cavity 7, where the rubber plugs 11, while being compressed between the insulated electric wire 8 and the wall of the terminal cavity 7, make the terminal cavity 7 watertight. The rubber plugs 11 are formed in larger size than the inside diameter of the terminal cavity 7 and have a through hole, and ia formed so that a ratio T/D of the thickness in the through hole direction T (mm) to the outside diameter of the insulated electric wire D (mm) is 1.0 or greater. |
