PURPOSE: A heat pump is provided to obtain optimal heating performance according to load conditions by being operated in parallel or a serial parallel circuit with a main compressor and an auxiliary compressor. CONSTITUTION: A heat pump comprises a main compressor (211), an indoor heat exchanger (212), an outdoor heat exchanger (213), a first expansion valve (214), a four-way valve (215), an accumulator (216), a first manifold (217), a second manifold (218), a second expansion valve (219), a third expansion valve (220), an internal heat exchanger (221), an injection valve (222), a check valve (223), an auxiliary compressor (224), and a first three-way valve (225). The first expansion valve is installed in a pipe connecting the indoor heat exchanger and the outdoor heat exchanger and reduces the temperature and the pressure of a refrigerant. The second expansion valve and the third expansion valve are individually installed in the first manifold and the second manifold and reduce the temperature and the pressure of the refrigerant. The internal heat exchanger exchanges heat between the refrigerant passing through the second expansion valve and the refrigerant passing through the third expansion valve and discharges the refrigerant passing through the second expansion valve to ta pipe connected to an outlet of the accumulator. The refrigerant passing through the third expansion valve is discharged to a pipe in which the first expansion valve is installed. The injection valve sprays refrigerant vapor saturated after heat exchange of the internal heat exchanger to the pipe connected to the outlet of accumulator. |
