PURPOSE: An extra high voltage line blocking system based on a solenoid valve for blocking delay prevention is provided to reliably block an extra high voltage line without malfunctions or a delay. CONSTITUTION: A controller (10) directs the operation of a protective relay (20). The protective relay, which is controlled by the controller, produces a blocking signal and transmits the signal to a solenoid valve (100). A compressor (30) provides compressed air for the solenoid valve and an air operation unit (50). The air operation unit operates a cylinder (51) by using the compressed air which is provided by the compressor. An extra high voltage failure detection unit (70) senses a failure in the extra high voltage line.
